    One Stinger system.

    Three choices...

    Image

    Laser. Radar. Or both.

    Image

Choose laser-only, radar-only, or laser and radar. In most areas you can come across both laser and laser, but laser-only and radar-only places do exist.

    Image

    Front-only. Or front and rear.

    Image

Most police officers shoot LASER at the front of your car, most of the time. However, rear laser shots do happen. Therefore, adding rear-laser protection may be essential in optimizing your laser protection. Read more about the number of lasers you may need further down the page. Adding rear RADAR will increase sensitivity and accurate radar location indications. Also see more about adding rear-radar down the page.

Choose between Strip and View. Strip gives a more straightforward user experience, whereas View offers you more control. Both belong in the cockpit of top performance cars. Both do laser and radar, but only Strip works in a laser-only configuration.

Strip's voice guidance, easy and fast control through three touch areas, and pleasant backlit alerts, make it simple to use. Strip can elegantly control laser-only, radar-only, and laser+radar.

We designed View to complement true performance car cockpits, while giving intuitive access to both basic and advanced laser and radar settings. Comes with optional voice guidance.

How many Laser sets do you need?

The number of Fiber Laser 'sets' - a set is made up by one Fiber Laser Transmitter and one Fiber Laser Receiver - you need mainly depends on two factors: 1) the size of your car, and 2) your personal preference as to how close you would like to get to optimal protection. Here follow the most common scenarios.

    1 set front

    Image

    Front center mass protection,

    on any car size.

    2 sets front

    Image

    Small car full front protection,

    on a compact car.

    3 sets front

    Image

    Full front protection,

    on a large car.

And what about rear laser protection?

Rear laser shots are less common, but in most areas police officers do shoot at the rear of your car when opportune. Most of our customers therefore add at least one Fiber Laser set to the rear side of their car. Also here the number of sets needed is dependent on the size of your car and your desire to optimize your protection level.

    3 sets rear

    Radar front and rear: 1 + 1 = 3

A good many of our customers have opted for placing an HD+ radar antenna at the front and the rear of their car. A dual radar antenna brings three great benefits:

First, when your car is shot at from behind, a rear HD+ can simply decrease your Stinger's reaction time due to its 'directional sensitivity'.

    Image

    Direct rear radar hit

Second, RD antennas often start alerting when picking up not straight shots, but radar reflections. A second antenna therefore strongly improves your Stinger's overall sensitivity.

And three, two antennas enable very accurate depictions of where the radar threat is coming from.
